What to do in the event of claim

In the event of a claim you should endeavour to:

– Take all reasonable steps to stop any further loss from occurring. For example:

  • You may need to contact Emergency Services or Police
  • Ensure the safe removal of undamaged goods and records assuming there is no danger
  • Move your vehicle to avoid any further damage if you are involved in an accident
  • You may need to employ a security company to secure your home or business premises on a temporary basis

– Notify the Amicus Insurance Claims Team or your insurer of your claim as soon as possible, but within 48 hours.
